Hebron City conflicts continue


Another round of clashes was witnessed Thursday between Palestinians and Israeli forces in the premises of the Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron City in the west bank as continuous protest against Israel Prime Minister decision of including the Ibrahimi Mosue and Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque in the list of Jewish historic places

Protesters, mostly youngsters set fire in tires along with throwing rocks in Israeli soldiers where Israeli forces responded by rubber bullets along with tear gas bombs to separate the crowd. Moreover, today marks the 16th anniversary for the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre that lead to 50 worshipers dead as they were performing the Fajar prayer inside the mosque.

As for the official response from the Palestinian government, President Mahmoud Abbas warned from a near religious war between Muslims and the Jews due to the decision, meanwhile the president of Palestine government Ismail Haniya that was dismissed by president Mahmoud Abbas urged the Palestinian people for a third intifada in the west bank as a response for Israel decision.
