Lebanon may be attacked by Israel; Turkey warns

Lebanon was warned this week from the Turkish PM, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that Israel is planning to attack, according to Lebanese sources reporting to the London-based Arabic language daily A-Sharq al-Awsat on Thursday.

Throughout the meeting between Lebanese PM Saad Hariri and Michel Suleiman; Erdogan stated that Israel was putting world peace in danger by using extreme force against Palestinians, as well as breaching Lebanese waters and air space and not disclosing about their nuclear program.

Erdogan took action by calling five UN security council members to pressure Israel to disclose information about their nuke program, similar to what the international community has done with Iran; "display a fair attitude to this region…(and) elsewhere as well…".
